I couldn’t think of a better name for this painting than Brave. Every year, I choose a word that means something personal, something that pushes me to grow or helps me reach an important goal. This painting is a celebration of facing my anxieties and hesitation head-on this week, especially in an area of my life that feels important for the next chapter. Lately, I’ve been feeling like I’ve been planted in the wrong soil, like I’m trying to grow in a place that just isn’t right for me anymore. And sometimes, just like a flower, you need to be moved to a different spot to really bloom. That shift takes courage, but it can change everything. Brave is energetic, colourful, and blooming, just like I hope the rest of the year will be. How have you been brave this year?
