It's that time again! London Design Festival 2016 and we are excited to have partnered up with 100% Design and Forster Inc Architect and Interior Designers to celebrate this years festival.
100% Design approached us to design the restaurant 21m wall feature, this will showcase our new Mix 'n' Match 17 collection. The new collection features three new wallpaper patterns, La Habana, Obrapia and Trinidad, inspired by travels around Cuba. We are honoured to be a part of this year's show as a sponsor, we launched our brand at 100% Design 2011 and it's lovely to be working with them for our 5th birthday!
Forster Inc is based in the heart of Shoreditch, London. They design creative interior spaces with personality and we have teamed up to showcase a range of our wallpapers within their showroom. The team are loving our pink and green trend and will create a statement feature wall using Fold Green, Iso and Tropic wallpapers. Please pop to the offices (address below) to see the products and the team will be happy to help with any queries!

We are loving a green and pink interiors combination this month! Our Mountain Green and Fold Greenwallpapers from our Basics range offer different shades of the same colour. Iso from our Mix 'n Matchrange is a subtle version of pastel pink. Either paired together on adjacent walls or pasted separately this colour combination is thumbs up!
This August 2016 marks the 5th birthday of my brand! I would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your love and support in helping me build my dream business. It has been a been roller coaster of challenges, riding the ups and downs, wearing several different hats and learning to balance everything!
Coming up to 5yrs, I looked back through previous projects over the years which I am truly grateful being a part of. Thank you to press support, featuring me in top industry publications worldwide and the continued love and admiration from the design community. August 2016 is also a very special month as we welcome our new CEO, Ninya the Pekingese, she loves pastel pink just like me! Tee hee... Thankyou all and here's to the next 5!

After a jam packed week in London visiting design studios we strolled the streets of CDW 2016. Great to meet with some fantastic showrooms such as Interface and Vitra, picking up beautiful room set ideas. We are now all clued up on Biophilic, design listening to a fantastic talk by Oliver Heath. Tom Dixon exhibited a beautiful line of lighting and interior products within a church, which provided a stunning backdrop. Knightsbridge Furniture showcased a fabulous range of Kempadoo Millar flatcaps, exhibiting all things Yorkshire. Pastel pink is a favourite colour ours...so we had to dine out atSketch in Mayfair, gallery room...pink...amazing!
We love the range of challenging projects that come through the door. This latest surface pattern collaboration project was a pleasure to work on. Transforming our patterns into stitch for mattresses. Working on the project over the last 12 months there have been many stages from initial concepts/research/ fabric and pattern sampling with stitch to the final products.
Overall we designed four patterns for the 2016 Ensleep Collection available to purchase from Hydudai Livart in Korea. Each one is individual adding a quirky design element through shape reflecting a cool and minimal scandinavian style.
Within our new KG Basics 2016 line there are a number of beautiful geometric patterns such as Fold Green, Mountain Blue and Jazz Vintage which can brighten up any interior by providing a pop of pattern. We are loving The Hampton wallpaper for Spring 2016. As it is quite a bold strip feature, we have put together a simple mood board highlighting some of our most favourite accessories at the moment.
The Hampton wallpaper is quite bold so we suggest just applying it as a feature wallpaper, unless you want to be quite extravagant you can apply on more than one wall. We are loving the Farrow and Ball range of paints and have chosen three shades which would perfectly compliment the other walls - Light Blue, Parma Grey and Lulworth Blue.
The beautiful vibrant turquoise sofa which is the Monroe Mid-Century Sofa - Celestial Blue (Luster Velvet) is from West Elm. They ship worldwide and have a store on Tottenham Court Road in London.
Why not add a pop of red on the lamp which is from Atelier Pi Berlin, stocking a beautiful range of accessories from storage and seating solutions. Parquet flooring is a beautiful look and running it along one floor can tie a space together. There are many companies offering coloured and patterned flooring. We think your floors are just as much a statement as your walls!
Our latest collaboration is with the super cool BLIK based in LA. We have teamed to create a new range of super cool home goods. Pulling patterns like Sparkle Black, Jazz Tartan and Fold Green from our 2016 KG Basics wallpaper line, our fashionable totes, pillows and shower curtains combine pretty pastels and neutrals with striking geometrics.
