Inspired by my time in Dubai, Desert Gold is an intense abstract artwork with gold accents. A sumptuous gold palette is synonymous within Dubai interiors and wanted to reflect this neutral colour palette within this piece. Layered with acrylic, oils the gold leaf was added as a final layer which elevates the painting beautifully. The white acts as a border for the painting, no need to add an extra mount for framing.
